This is my 501st video!! That's a lot of editing hours!! Thanks to my patient for sharing his procedure! It was great talking with him and he traveled far to see me, I’m glad we were able to help him. This is something I see often in Southern California due to the amount of sunshine we get every year. Favre Racouchot goes by many names – solar comedones, senile comedones, nodular elastosis. People with history of smoking and moderate to severe sun exposure are at risk for thickening of the skin, which can make it easier for pores to become occluded and form comedones (blackheads and whiteheads). No matter how the comedones form, from smoking, solar damage, or puberty, they all come out the same way with common extraction methods!!
